April

Getting ready for Easter

These are the treat holders we made for some of our friends.

Guess who is finally a rollie-pollie-ollie..............The Rigg-mister

He has also entered into the world of tasty new things. He is a great eater loving peas and sweet potatoes the best.

Fu-manchu

Summer time is headed our way, the kids have wore their swimsuits almost everyday since mid-april and they already have a nice tan.....no fair!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Baskets are out, along with some carrots for the Easter Bunny.

Good Morning, yeah....the Easter Bunny came!!

I didn't get a picture with Riggy and his basket....we have 8 o'clock church so it was time to get ready.

Sweet Millie, well don't let her adorable smile fool you. She is a crazy crazy girl but pretty in pink!

Several pictures of the 3 and this was the best one. Grumpy boy the right wouldn't cooperate  =(  Shaun and I matched them as well, but of course we didn't get a picture of all of us!

After church we dyed Easter eggs. They loved doing this.

Then off to the Martineaus for an Easter BBQ. Nolans family came as well, which was great because Ryk had a buddy =)

Riggy is often found with his hands in his mouth. I love my chubbers!!

Let the hunt begin

As you can see from Rykers basket, he doesn't mess around.

When opening all his eggs, this was the reaction to finding a dollar.

We had a great Easter weekend and month of April..........get ready for May it is already jam-packed!!!!

End of March, bring on April

I had a fun night out with the girls. My Uncle Jason was in Phx touring.  He has been in a band for years now but first time in Phx. It was great seeing him. He has so much energy I don't know how he does it. Did I mention he was my Uncle but only 3 years older than me =)

My Noni and Bompa rolled into town the next day. We were sad they didn't get here in time for the concert. But it was great to spend some time with them. They live in Virginia and last time was saw them was 2 1/2 years ago.

Amelia is GREAT at making messes but when it is time to clean up...not so great. Finally we sent her to her room to clean and she came running out so proud of herself and said "come look I cleaned it all up". We went in to find everything stacked up ontop of each other. Well at least it was off the floor.

Shaun got free tickets to the Renaissance Festival so we decided to take the kids! No offense to those who like that sort of thing....but it was a first and last time going. It wasn't terrible but very expensive and we even had free tickets, but you still had to pay for everything once you got in. Kids had fun though.

Ax throwing

The highlight of the trip for me was these shaved ice frozen ball things. Yummy.

Millie was happy to ride on the pink butterfly

I got to go with Ryker as a chaperon on his class Field Trip. We went and saw Seussical the Musical. Loved the songs but we were front row and the actors were a little weird. Maybe it was because I could see their faces and the over acting was creepy.

Speaking of creepy.....not the best picture of me... oh well.

Afterwards we went to tumbleweed park for lunch and playtime. Ryker with his 2 buds.
