Wrapping up November

I got to go be a chaperon on Ryker's class field trip to the Stuffington Bear Factory. They kids were able to stuff their own animal and see how stuffed animals are made. Ryker choose the blue bird and named him Soar.

 Giving Soar a bath

On the bus. They also tie-dyed shirts so they were all matching. They even made shirts for the chaperons to wear =)

Nana and Pa took us to see "The Grinch" musical. It was very cute and lots of fun.

Rykers first play/ musical =)

Since Ryker was getting to do so many fun things, Nana took Millie to Build a Bear. Amelia loves the Rudolph movie (she has been watching it since July) so she made a Clariss Reindeer

When you press the ear it says "Hi I'm Clariss, I think you're cute" Amelia would laugh and giggle everytime.

I'm mad we didn't get more pictures but my brother Abe, his wife Shantay and my favorite little niece Bristol came down for a week and stayed with us. We thought it would be fun to go to the temple lights with the whole fam.  Here are the uncles, Abe, Ethan and Blake.

Adelle and Shaun couldn't go, they were both working =(

I love my stroller, yes all 3 kids fit on it so I load them up and we are off.

For Thanksgiving we ate at the Martineaus this year. Holy cow it was good. I never eat everything on my plate  but this year I did plus some.  Sarah and Blake joined us and had fun with the kids outside.

My 3 little monsters angels =)

Briss Briss and Millie

So I want to remember how cute Amelia is and the funny stuff she does. She is starting to be more creative and playing pretend. She loves to go outside and "drive" to all sorts of places. She goes to the store, the temple, to church, to her friends house, etc. But this time she had her high heels on, her purse and baby doll and her baby was sick so she was taking her to the doctors. I LOVE spying on her and listening to what she says.

Oh sweet wild Amelia. I will forever love your "piggies"

Check out this little man. He is growing like a champ. He is 2 months and doing lots better. He was a gassy baby for awhile but now it doesn't seem to bother him as much. He has good days and better days. I would say bad, because nothing compares to the all day and night crying and fussing Ryker did. Millie was still by best baby and Rigdon comes in at a close second. I can't  ever capture a picture of him smiling though =(

Putting up the Christmas tree

They LOVE to get out all the ornaments look and talk about all of them.

Ryker putting the star on top.

 Looking forward to December!!!

November

November 2nd our sweet little cousin Riley turned 1. Missy planned a crazy fun Carnival Party for him. It was so fun and she did a great job.

Their was chili dogs, pretzels and cheese, popcorn, cotton candy, cupcakes and so much more. I was in Junk food heaven.

She even rented a bounce house for the kids (and adults).

Ryker has been in Karate for 2 months now. He moved up from his white belt and is now a orange/white belt....a snow tiger. We love going to his classes twice a week and watching him. Kids doing karate is possible the cutest and funniest thing EVER.

WARNING: This may be the greatest thing you have seen this year. My dad is a crazy guy and likes to push the boundaries in life. Well he saw these beauties and couldn't live without them. When I first saw them on his feet I thought he looked like big foot. I laughed my head off. Yes these are shoes and they have a slot for each toe and yes he wears them in public....he has no shame.

My parents took Ryker to see my grandma Mema who lives in Cottonwood. They stayed the night and the next day went on a 4 hour train ride through Verde Valley.

On Vetreans day we went to the Zoo with my mom and brother. The weather was great but it was crowded. The kids had fun but it ended with tantrums and crying kids, Rigdon was not one of them. We waited in line for like 30 mins to see the new Koala, it was cute but not a good thing to do at the end of the trip.

Amelia and her little friend started a little "Movin and Groovin" tots class. They are so cute.

Well just a few things to document for the month of November.

Halloween

What a fun Halloween we had this year. First off my kids didn't mind one bit that they didn't go trick-or-treating on Sunday. We had so many parties that by the time we got to Sunday, they had fun passing candy out with their Pa.  Ok lets back up, so Wednesday before Halloween, Ryker came home from school and seemed fine. An hour later he complained his head hurt, then his stomach hurt and 3 hours later the boy was throwing up. I was so sad for him and hoping he would only have a 24 hour bug because Friday was his Halloween party at school and guess who is the room mom, yep me and how sad that would be if he had to stay home while I go and throw a party for the rest of his class. But he was feeling better the next day so he stayed home to rest on thursday and was as good as new on friday. So I have always wanted to be the room mom so I can plan and organize the holiday parties. I came up with 5 stations and the kids rotated to each station, then we ended with a calk walk and food.

One of the stations was "Pin the wart on the Witch" I made this witch poster, laminated it, then used green play-dough rolled into a little ball for the wart.

Another station was "Spooky Pumpkin faces" I cut out tons of eyes, noses, mouths and random shapes so the kids could take their felt pumpkin and design many fun faces.

Ooops, forgot to rotate this picture but this station was "Don't Eat Mr. Pumpkin". Most of the kids in the class never played this game before so it was alot of fun.

I also made a Halloween memory game and then we did a Ghost craft at the other station. I was bummed I didn't get pictures. We also made these Frankenstien bags to put all their goodies in to take home. They won a prize after they completed every station.

We also had these skeleton sugar cookies. I saw them on another blog and had to make them. So cute hu?

Then Saturday night was our wards Trunk-or-Treat party. So I'm a weirdo and love when all the kids have coordinating costumes. I what them all to be something completely different but Ryker had to be spiderman so then Millie was a Ladybug and Rigdon a Bee, so they all were  BUGS, yep that was the theme.

Seriously, have you ever seen a cuter Ladybug....I think not!!! =)

This brought back so many great memories. As soon as we got home Ryker and Amelia ran into the kitchen and started going through their bags to see what they got. I remember Abe and I staying up for hours after we got home, sorting and trading our candy. I always tried to trade my yucky candy for Abe's good candy. Ryker takes after his mamma.

I love my little skeletons. Happy Halloween!!

Life with a new babe

Having Rigdon in our family has brought nothing but joy. We love this little man so much. The first week Rigdon was born Shaun was home with us and my mom was helping me out as well.  Then the next week was going to be the true test....Shaun back to work and my mom back to CO. It was also Fall Break so Ryker didn't have school. It was a bit hard because my kids get bored so easy but I didn't want to  take Rigdon out. So we did venture out to San Tan mall so they can play outside and go to the Disney store to look.  So here is Rigdon's first outing....yep he slept the whole time.
Good Boy!

Shantay and Briss Briss came for a quick visit to see Rigdon. Oh I love this love girl. She is so so beyond cute and has such a fun personality. Abe and Shantay are now off to Idaho for a few years, while Abe goes to school. I will look forward to many more visits.

Ryker loves weapons his Uncle Blake got him this fake gun and Ryker takes it everywhere. He said he would protect us all from the bad guys with it. So if an intruder broke into our house at night, Ryker was ready for him.

Now that the weather is slowly cooling down the kids are outside playing all the time. I was in feeding Rigdon and hadn't checked on the kids in a while and I hadn't heard from them in a while, which is unusual because normally one comes in to tattle on the other one every 5 mins. I finally go check on them and Ryker had turned the hose on. They were having a blast jumping with the water. I smiled and said...."be careful" and went back in the house. Hey as long as they are playing nice and not bugging me, I don't care. =)

Rigdon's first bath. He loved it, well he wasn't smiling or anything but sat and looked relaxed as we gave him a warm bath. Since he is my only baby to have this much hair, it is funny to have to wash it all the time because it get greasy really fast. Mostly because the kids are always touching his head.

Rigdon 2 weeks old
Poor kid, his big brother and sister are ALWAYS in his face......they just love him to pieces. I love how Amelia calls him Rigg Riggs or Little Buddy and Ryker calls him Bud. They always want to check on him sleeping. I'm glad they love him so much but wish they would give him some personal space =)

We went to the Vertuccio Farm with our friends the Spindles. It is a cute little place right off of Power road.  The kids had so much fun going through the corn maze, riding the tractor train thing and just being silly kids.

Ryker, Jackson, Bryce and Kyla

Ryk, Bryce, Kyla and Jackson (Millie didn't want to be in the group shot) we were also missing Porter- 5 months and Rigdon- 3 weeks

Here is sweet Rigdon 3 weeks old. He really has been a good baby. He started getting fussy when he was about 2 weeks old but we realized he always had gas so we solved that with those lovely anti-gas drops.

 Next up ....... Halloween
