Yes more crafts!

So I guess my blog is going to turn into more of a "craft"  site!! =)   But I wanted to share the latest as I'm getting ready for Valentines Day. I love the month of February. It is all about hearts, love and of course chocolate!!  I had so much fun last night with some friends who came over to do the craft.  Shaun was a nice husband and took Ryker to the movies, so moms friends could come over and play.   

ps  yes I seem to do these "block" word crafts all the time but I started in November and made one every month since, so of course I'm going to finish out all the months. (I almost have my March blocks done)  =)  Had to do it before the baby comes!!!!

Winter Crafts

I thought these were just so cute and wanted to post them to give ideas. I love going to different sites and seeing craft ideas. Some people post recipes, well I can't cook so I guess I'll just have to show my fun craft projects.

6. If you could go anywhere, where would you go?  Um.. right now any place I can be in water. I feel so fat and uncomfortable that I just want to soak in a hot tub!!

7. What color is your bathroom?  cream, one of the only rooms with no color scheme yet!! =(

8. What did you want to be when you were little? an teacher!!

9. How are you today? Once again uncomfortable.. but church was great!

10. What is your favorite candy? Reisens, but I'll eat anything with sugar.

11. What is your favorite flower?  Bright colorful ones.

14. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone? My teaching partner from church, she called to tell me she was sick  =(

16. What is under your bed? Probably clothes I left on the floor and have slowly got shuffled under the bed

17. What is your favorite smell? For some reason I like smells that would make one get high so I don't smell them to often but paint, gas and rubbing alcohol to name a few.  Weird I know!!

18. How many keys are on your key ring? 1 my car key!!

19. What are your top 3 qualities you value in a friend? Fun, sincere and thoughtful.

20. Who is your favorite friend from High School? Well I can't pick one because we are all still very close so I would have to say- Nat, Alissa, Rhona, Morgan, Linds, Heather and Megann!!!

GO MITT!!!!

Yeah Mitt Romney pulled through in Michigan!!   If you follow the news  you will notice not to many "media folks"  are rooting for him  (even the republican commentators), I feel like he gets criticized for everything. I saw on the news this morning, they had a whole segment talking about how he is "to good looking" and to "perfect", and "to "successful"!!  What the heck, so what do they want a stinky, ugly guy with dandruff. Give me a break!!  Well I love ya Mitt and hope he continues to do well.  

Pink!!

So I'm not one to lean towards the color pink but I thought since I'm getting ready to have a girl in February I need to start liking it more. That is why I have a very pink blog!! I don't hate pink but it is never a color I choose for some reason.  But getting ready for the baby is sure changing my mind =)   7 weeks to go!!

Christmas Time (better late than never)

So I'm finally getting some Christmas pictures up here.  This is our family Christmas Eve at Shauns parents house.

Santa brought Ryker the Deigo Rescue Center with lots of animals. He sat and played with this for 2 hours straight.
My favorite gift. Shaun got me the "Wise Up" shirt from my secret love, Bill ORiellys web store.  As most of you know I love his show and one thing he says to people all the time it "wise up" so I've been know to say that to Shaun often =)  Now I don't have to say it I just point to my shirt.

TO INFINITY and BEYOND

Yes I need to get my christmas pictures up but Shauns dad took some so I'm waiting to get those and will post them. Until then I though I would share some cute pics of Ryker flying around pretending to be Buzz Lightyear. He even makes those flying noises only boys can do =)
He got a cool Buzz toy and Buzz PJ's for Christmas.  He is now ready to save the galaxy. 

Big Boy Bed

Ryker loves his new bed. He really liked jumping on it!!!
First day and he had no problems taking a nap!!  He is a stinker most of the time, but the one good thing he has always done for me is he is a great sleeper!!

More Cousins...

This is Stephanie and Travis Evans, Shaun, me and Ryker and Casey and Shelley Goodman. Their little boy Lane was off playing. We just had fun doing the "Older Cousins" white elephant gift exchange.  I got the yummy candle my brother brought. I wanted a tool box but someone stole it from me =(
These are all my cousins who have kids. Natalie (in the middle) and I are expecting our second kiddos.

I'm so blessed to have such wonderful family!! I could write a long book with all the fun memories I have of growing up with them. I'm so glad we were so close.

Udall Christmas Party

Every year for as long as I can remember, we have done a cousin gift exchange.  Each year it gets bigger and bigger with cousins getting married and having babies. I have 28 cousins on my moms side, 8 of us now married and  have had 10 kids all together.  Ryker got to give to Trellany this year. She got a necklace and gift card to Forever 21.

The JOY's of Crafting

So I'm so proud of myself for actually completing a craft. I start many and only finish a few. I saw this at a scrapbook store and to buy the kit was alot. I knew I could make it on my own. I had a family party to go to and we do a older cousin gift exchange. I thought this, (plus a gift card for the hubby) would be a great idea.  So I had fun making it, now I have to make one for me =)  My wonderful cousin Stephanie ended up with my cute creation.  

Sneaky Shelley

My cousin Shelley (the one on the left) invited us over for dinner the other night. She made yummy taco salad. Well she has been telling me how easy it is to Blog but I just didn't want to cross over and become a "blogger". I prefer to just look at everyone else's =)   But right after dinner Shelley goes, "Ok, lets go set up your blog".   So really the dinner was just a big set up and she really just wanted to force me to start blogging!!  I'll admit it is pretty fun to do, so thank you Shelley for getting it all going.    p.s. this is one of my favorite pictures. Shelley's twin sister Stephanie is on the right of me.  They are 2 of my most favorite people!! I don't know what I would have done without them =)

Breakfast with Santa

So Ryker is usually scared to go see Santa, but he saw other ward kids sitting on his lap and realized he must not be to scary after all.  So Ryker pulled me from my chair an said "Go sit on Santa's lap". I was shocked but happily waited in line. Ryker told him he wanted a train for Christmas, uh-oh mom better go shopping a little more.

Ryker had so much fun at our Ward Christmas Party. It was "Breakfast with Santa" so the kids could wear their PJ's.  Today Ryker got a new pair of Thomas the Train PJ, thanks Nana.
