March Madness

Don't we just love the weather March brings us. My kids constantly ask to have picnics.

The Drool King. Every picture I took of him he had a huge slobber droplet hanging down from his mouth.

We (as in me) finally did it. We said goodbye to Amelias dear friend...the Paci. She sucked on one from the day she was born. I really felt bad taking it away  because that was all she knew for sleep time...she had her paci and blankie. But we found all her pacis and put them into an envelope and mailed them to the Paci Fairy. The next day the Paci Fairy mailed Amelia a book for sleeping through the night without one. She did cry for 20 mins after we put her in bed but that was it. I know, I know, I should have taken it away along time ago but guess what I didn't and I'm perfectly happy with my decision.

Bust out the popsicles....it is warming up outside.

SPRING BREAK!!!! Holy cow it was a great week.....no real schedule and playing all day....loved it.
Playing dress ups......they were super heros fighting crime.  I love how creative they can be.

We went to the zoo one day (along with everyone else it seemed). The kids were great and it was alot of fun. My friend Amanda who is 8 months pregnant  came along with her girlies =) Which made it so much better for my kids.

St. Patricks day =)

Treats the kids and I made to hand out to some special people.

Then we had a party at the party with many neighborhood friends. Their was lots and lots of green and the kids had so much fun. It was a perfect day for the park.

We had rainbow fruit kabobs and PB& J on green bread of course. Thanks to all those who helped me out.

Then a leprechaun left a code for the kids to solve. The answer to the code was Rainbow, so then the kids had to find a rainbow somewhere in teh park. Looks like they did and found a pot of gold as well. =) Well a pot of gold chocolates.

Our Idaho cousins flew in the night before so they joined us at the park.
Brekka, Millie, Brody, Ryk, Riggy and Brae

So the rest of Spring Break we got to spend it in the sun with our cousins.  They played in the sprinklers and swam in the pool. Well the Idaho boys actually got in and stayed in the pool the other kids played on the steps and got in and out. The pool was still a little to cold for our Arizona blood.

Of course we hardly took any pictures of us adults but while the kids played outside (thanks Michael for watching them in the pool) we got to get some beading done =)

They found the turtles who were waking up from a long winters nap.

Brae and Ryker......2 of a kind!! They are the best little buddies EVER!!!! I hardly saw or even had to worry about Ryker for 3 days straight because he was just playing and hanging out with this cute kid. Why oh why do you guys have to live in Idaho!!!  We try to convince them to come live in the sunny state and they try to convince us to come live in their snowy state. I guess we at least have places to go escape when we are sick of our weather =)

What a fun spring break we had!!

Last part of February and Birthdays Extravaganza!

Hi. My name is Rigdon and I don't take good naps for my mom. But I pull stunts like this and she forgets  all about that and just eats up my cuteness.

I LOVE when babies can sit and eat their toes =) Gross fact about me....I'm a nail biter...nasty habit but can't stop. Well I had even a nastier habit when I was little and it was, I bit my toenails. I just hope Riggy here doesn't start doing that.

For FHE we had a lesson on how the Constitution was an inspired document directly from Heavenly Father. With it being Presidents day and all, I thought it was very appropriate to continue teaching my children about our country and how blessed we to live in this choice land. I hope you can teach this as well because they won't learn that in school these days. I have some wonderful talks giving at conference about it if you would like me to send your way, let me know!!

Once again, my name is Rigdon and not only am I a terrible napper I drool like nobodies business. I've been doing this since 2 months and I'm not even teething.

13 stripes, 50 stars...."One Nation Under God"

Well the big day finally came...Amelia has been looking forward to her birthday since Christmas. February 25th 2008 this sweet little lady entered the world. You can read about it here =)

Good Morning Amelia and Happy Birthday!!!! Notice her cupcake PJs. She was ready for her day.

We took Ryker to school then off to Einstein bagels. We love bagels so it was a yummy breakfast. She like a plain bagel with strawberry (pink) cream cheese.

She had to practice awhile to master just holding up 3 fingers....she finally got it.

Waiting for her 3 little friends to come over so the Cupcake Birthday Party could start.

This was our table center piece.....a few pictures of Miss Millie growing up.

We did a little cupcake craft

Decorated our chief hats. I made Ryker a special red one since he didn't want to wear pink.

Decorated mini pink cupcakes.

Opening presents.

Then for dinner she wanted to eat pizza and ride the carousel.  So off to the mall to meet up with the grandparents.

Uncle Effy in the tea cup with them.

Love this picture.....Ryker was flying high.

Then my mom took her to the candy store and let her fill a bag of candy, She was in sugar heaven!!

Afterwards we headed home to blow out some candles and open her birthday gifts from us.

She got a crib for her babies. I made a little pad, blanket and pillow for it. With cupcake material of course.

She was spoiled rotten and LOVED every minute of it. Now I know why she came a day early and didn't want to share her birthday with me.

Our Rigatoni trying on the chiefs hat.

Then the next day, February 26th I had my 29th birthday. It started out with Rykers last basketball game. I will miss not going each week. It was so fun for us all.

Here we have Amelia in some of her new bling. She looked like a NBA basketball player wife =)

Ryker earned his metal and was very proud of it. He wore it the rest of the day. We are so proud of Ryker and his hard work =)

Then Shaun let me go to the store...all by myself. I just slowly looked at clothes and had a nice time being alone =) Then we went to Joes Farm and Grill for my favorite Blue cheese burger EVER. It was a great birthday and I'm so blessed to have so many family and friends who love and care for me!!! Thanks everyone =)
