Passin' the time!!!

Well it is 10:30pm on a Saturday night. I am starting to get sleepy after a long day but Shaun is off shooting a wedding video and has to be there till MIDNIGHT and of course he is in Phx sooo by the time he packs it all up and drives home it will be 1:00. I'm just afraid if I go to sleep before he gets home I will wake up when he comes home and then not be able to go back to sleep.  And on top of it all I am talking in sacrament meeting tomorrow which starts at 8:00am!!! So not the best night to be staying up late hu?? Sorry Boulder Creek Ward if I don't make any sense!!  Well I thought I would do a little blogging to the pass the time.  =)

On Friday I meet up with some good old friends because Dionne came to town. She now lives in Utah and her parents are still here and her little brother just came home from a mission so she is down visiting. I haven't seen this girl for ages, so it was so fun to get caught up again. I have many fun memories of with this girl. English class junior year, girls camp, getting in huge trouble for doing something so embarassing (don't worry Dionne I will never tell),  and many more things!!  Sorry the pictures is fuzzy, she didn't push the button half way to make it focus!! Come visit again Dionne!!! Oh and she is pregnant with her 4th kid and you would never know.

This is just a side note. One of my goals this year is to sew something each month. So I started with this cute little summer dress for Millie of course.  It is a little  big for her now but come summer and she will be one cute chicka!!!
February project is a skirt for me.

First of all...EEEWWW! I look so gross, fat AND white in that picture! I might have to reconsider my aversion to the desert so that I don't look so pale anymore!!!
And second, I would have made another trip back down to AZ to personally take you out had you mentioned what we got in trouble for:) So thanks for not:)
I'm so glad we met up...it was so fun catching up with you guys! Some of my best memories include you!

Dionne you are so funny. You don't look any whiter than the rest of us and we are from AZ so we are the ones who should be embarrassed. =) And I would never tell of our little prank. That one, we will take to the grave. Come back soon!!!!!!

Cute dress! You're so talented. It was fun seeing you for like ten minutes the other day! Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Next time I will leave the kids with my sister! By the way, I still don't think you can read my blog. Email me at ralaehaws@juno.com so I can invite you.

HOLY smokes, that dress is so dang cute. Millie is at such a darling age- she is a heartbreaker!

Are my ears registering correctly? Is Beyonce's "Single Ladies" your blog background song?? That just made my day. Have you seen the video? We must discuss this.

Yes Candice I'm OBSESSED with this song for some reason!!! No, I don't want to be single again but it is such a fun song and yes I've seen the video and only Beyonce can pull off wearing what she wears in it. The girl is thicker than me but some how she still looks 10x better!!!!

All right, I had the vinyl for my little project cut for me, e-mail me with your e-mail address and I will give you her address (it is Nicole's sis in Utah but she is really reasonable) -- I had her do it last year. . .so don't remember how much but I don't think more than 50 cents a block?! Your dress is super cute, makes me wish I had learned to sew. . . Also, is Spencer in for preschool next year? Deana

How have I not checked your blog for a whole week?! I guess that shows how much blogging I've done this week :) Busy Busy! And I'm feeling pretty bad about the few goals I made for the year, because Amelia is going to look PRECIOUS in that dress and I was supposed to make something every month too. I've got a big fat nothing to show for myself. Boo. :) Way to improve your sewing skills!
