Rykers Birthday Week

The Sunday before Ryker's birthday we ate dinner at the Martineau's. Nana made him this yummy chocolate cake.

Then he got to open all his fun presents from Nana and Pa and the Palmers.

He got all Legos and was VERY excited!!! He has spend hours putting them together and follows every single direction. He is is dads son, that is for sure.

It was a beautiful perfect day. My sisters came over as well to celebrate in the birthday festivities.

Ryker's FAVORITE thing to do at recess or at a park is to play TAG. So since he was the birthday boy we played tag. Holy cow I am out of shape. I haven't ran like that in years =)

So he had a few more days till his real birthday so while waiting patiently he played Legos.

We also finished up our last week of swim lessons with Ms. Celeste. We love her!!!

The big day finally arrived, May 18th is Rykers birthday and he turned 6 this year.

It was on a Wednesday so he had school, so we took a treat to his class. He wanted Dunkin Doughnuts munchkins. His classmates sang Happy Birthday to him and I think the ending is just so funny. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Ryker, Happy Birthday to you, chachacha, oolala, stick your head in hot lava, high ya, FREEDOM

It is so random but halarious!!

That night Ryker wanted pizza for his birthday, so we went to Borros with Gampa and Ethan. (Gama was in Idaho still and all the other Aunts were working)

Then back to our place for presents and a little cake and ice cream.

The next night Shaun took Ryker and his friend Jackson (and his dad Dan) to play laser tag. He has been wanting to go do this for awhile now. They had a blast =)

So Ryker was spoiled as usual and had a great birthday WEEK. I love my little man so much. His favorite color is still green, he loves to play with friends, his favorite TV show is anything super hero or about animals. His favorite food is still chicken nuggets and french fries with chocolate milk. He loves Rigdon and is a great help to me with him. Ryker loves to play dress-ups and has several different costumes he likes to wear and of course loves to pretend he has weapons of all kinds.
