She came a day before her due date, I guess she didn't want to share her birthday with mama. Monday early morning at 1:00 in the morning, my water started to leak. I called the Dr around 3:30am and he said to go it at 6:00am. So I casually walked into the Hospital and they check me out. I was dialated to a 4 and since I had to have this baby within 24 hrs of my water leaking they sent me to my delivery room. I was all hooked up and the nurse kept saying "Do you feel that", I said "Feel what" she all, "yum you are having a contraction right now". Well I didn't feel it but went ahead and got my epidural, so yes we are a spoiled generation because I never felt one contraction!!! Thank you modern medicane!!! Well they had to put me on potosin and after waiting forever it felt, (pain free) I finally was at a 10 and the Dr arrived and I pushed a few times and their she was. So besides waiting forever all went well. We came home today (Feb 27th) and I'm feeling great and baby is doing good. I'm so grateful for her and that she is healthy. ps I know I'm a bad speller so sorry for all the grammar errors, that is why I teach preschool not Highschool English =)
Amazing Team!!! My nurse Kathy was the best. She was so sweet and just so much help. Of course a huge thanks to Dr. Holmes. He is the best Dr ever and I'm grateful for them and their help delivering our baby girl.
Miss Starwberry Stortcake. That is what we call her when she had this hat on. She came back from the nursery with it on, I guess they have a sweet old lady who loves knitting little hats. She was very stylish and all the nurses loved it.
I will post some better pictures of her soon. She is so tiny and cute. Ryker loves her and wants to show her to anyone who comes over.
