Ok I think I'm back on top and my poor house needs some MAJOR TLC!!! I made a To Do list and hope to rock n' roll and get it done. Here is a post from the past week or 2 of a few events.
Friday of Fall Break Shaun had the day off so we took the kids to the Train Park. We had a great time and wish it was closer.
Ryker had his 2 best girlie friends over and they love to play dress up. I have a box with old costumes and Ryker managed to squeeze this little number on. He wore it when he was 18 months!!!! So aparantly his torso hasn't grown since then, just his arms and legs.
Missy wanted to make some yummy carmal apples, you know like the fancy ones you buy. So we attempted it.
We were all so sick afterwards because we were snacking on all the chocolate and candy the whole time. Seriously we were in a sugar coma by the end. ps I'm going to be an Aunt in a week. Missy is scheduled for a c-section November 4th. Little Riley is a big boy and decided to sit breech in his mammas tummy.
The end results. Each is like 5 pounds of sugar. We learned a few tricks along the way, so next year they will be amazing.

As you can see I will be busy these next few months, 2 babies and a wedding and we have a few holidays and birthdays to celebrate as well. No more time for me to be a slug baby..... it is go time.

YUM! Caramel apples! THey look TO DIE FOR!! Oh I want one so bad! Ok, we are actually making some tomorrow night (prizes for the best costumes at our Halloween party) and I want to know your tricks you figured out!! Seriously- fill me in ! :)
I am dying laughing at that picture of Ryker in the dino costume!! No joke, yesterday i was looking at some old pictures in my room and i have one of him wearing that suit WHEN IT FIT HIM! hahaha! oh my, classic ryker.

Looks like we missed a good time. Sorry...Trell's was sick and with the swine going around we didn't want to take any chances of getting Shantay sick before the baby comes. Glad ya'll had fun.
I would also love to hear the tricks you learned. I always want to make those gourmet apples. Did you make your own caramel? Tell us your secrets, oh wise one!

Aw her shower looks so cute!! And Ps to all that are wondering the secrets to the apples. It's LOVE. LOL No joke Leah we have 8 apples sitting at our house still because after that I was all candied out! Which is a VERY rare occurance. But it was still lots of fun!
K, a little jealous of your kids in shorts and sandals during "Fall Break". Miss AZ this time of year.
