The rest of June

Last year Ryker was able to be apart of the Patriotic Program put on by a wonderful lady, Alicia Phelps. Well this year she did it again and Amelia was able to participate in it as well :) The practiced for 2 whole weeks, 4 hours a day!!! It wore them out but it was so worth it in the end. They learned like 15 songs and dances. But the best part of all is all the information they learned about our founding fathers and government. I was one proud mama!!

Happy Fathers Day to our day!! Most Valuable Dad!!!! I had the kids all decked out in their Dbacks gear just for him. We had French Toast and Eggs for breakfast. We love our dad so much!!!

Hmmmm eating a fudgesicle in 110 degree weather is not the best idea.

More summer fun over at the Wells. We went over to Uncle Blake's parents house and they have a really fun pool.  They have this Tarzan swing and Ryker had a blast.

Summertime also means swim team. Ryker got his first 1st place ribbon doing the butterfly stroke. He said next race he wanted to get 3rd because he already had 2nd and 4th. He was trying to collect all the different ribbons.

Making rootbeer with Pa for one of our BBQs.

Projects with friends.
Amelia 4, Gwen 2, Eden 8, Ryker 7, Delia 6

So we have a mini crib in our bedroom so Rigdon can take naps. It is much quieter in there. But he now liked to throw the pad and blanket out. Then I go in and find him sleeping on the wood bottom board. What a stinker.

One way we beat the heat durning the summer is go to Toys R Us and look at all the fun toys. Well they love to climb in teh little battery operated cars and pretend to drive around.

Rigdon loves basketball, football, baseball etc.... So I bought him this basketball hoop you can hang anywhere. He was in heaven :)

6th place at his breast stroke meet.

Oh now on to Girls Camp!! I love GC as we all know. This is my 5 year going and I hope for many more. This year me and my 2 besties were the craft and service project ladies. Lots of prep work to be done for 300 girls but so worth it.

Candice Drew, Amanda Porter and Me

We take our calling very seriously and went all out. Decorating the craft cabin and ourselves. We matched every day we were up there.

The first day we made journals. The Stake Camp Director wanted the girls to have journals to write down all their camp experiences.

Classic silly picture!

Day 2

Here is a picture of all the Stake leaders. It was such an honor to work with so many wonderful people. They are all such great examples to me.

Day  3

Seriously, I'm so blessed to get the chance to go to GC and be spiritually uplifted. Going to camp ALWAYS helps my testimony to grow. So many wonderful experiences I have had I wrote in my personal journal. Things that I hope to look back on and remember during those hard times.

So I get home from Girls Camp and then the next day drive up to Heber for the Martineau Family Reunion. Ryker loved going on the zipline. I went once and nearly peed my pants.

Doing what she does best smiling and snacking ;)

Shaun even went on it once.

And it would be camping without a little dirt.

I can hardly wait to get him on display life size in my home in one of my large format digital picture displays. He will look so frickin cute! Whenever I walk up to look at him I will probably spend a few minutes caressing him and kissing him from one end to the other LOL!
