Ok Leah, our parents go way back so I remember when I was a little girl and lived in Mesa you came over with your dad one day and we played and I thought you were so much fun, so it was really neat that we finally moved out to Gilbert in 94 and we've been friends since. You're awesome Leah!!
This is for Leah: I still can't get over you and Alissa dressing up as "Harold and Edna" for Halloween. I loved the accents you did...so fun!
And yes, you did talk too much! :)
Hey Leah, i have a memory of you when you first moved into the ward and we were having VT interviews or something and i was sitting waiting my turn and you walked past and said something like this,"I just have to tell you you have such a pretty face, i love looking at you", or something like that, i can't remember the exact words but it was such a sweet thing for you to say! I remember telling you thank you for being so sweet but I was really thinking "who is this beautiful person saying this, and what is she talking about!" I was thinking you were talking to the wrong person or something! But anyways, that has stuck out in my mind about you! I have loved you ever sense!:) Thank you for the kind words!!
OH MY... how do I narrow them down? Let's see, Sunday nights at grandmas playing kick the can and the tether ball "incident", trip to flagstaff with grandma and all the many funny memories along with it. Our bike rides to Casens and Pauls house (i think his name was paul) watching our Mary kate and Ashley movies. Come on Leah, we have WAY to much history together!
Oh this is so fun! Lets see... of course I think of our sleepovers and talking until the sun came up! And that of course reminds me of STALKING LAURA!! AHHH! I loved all our Sunsplash trips and when we couldn't go there, riding in your Awesome golf cart to the ditch and swimming in the pristine water. Haha. Remember the time you told us there was a leech!! I still don't know if you were just trying to freak us out or not! I loved being one of your bridesmaids even though it was a mixed emotion day for ME! I'm lucky Shaun is willing to share. :) It was so fun when you came up to Provo to visit me at BYU! I obviously could go on and on! I LOVE YOU TO DEATH!
Leah, I have TOO many memories to even begin to list!! :) But I have to say that I will always remember the VERY first time I met you at my 1st mutual acivity in the 6th ward, you were SOOOO nice and I was totally bummed that you were younger than me! But hey, we got to hangout in High School and that was SOOO fun, you are an AWESOME friend!
OK, here are just a FEW...
Harold and Edna, Q-tip girl, fireline's across Guadalupe, making commercials, driving around in your Dad's HUGE truck, you ditching after 4th hour hiding in my car 'Little Blue', CD's (you know what I am talking about), swimming at my house, and hanging out ALL THE TIME!! You made High School a total blast!
OK so I have a couple. I will always remember you coming to the hospital after jackson was born and staying for hours visiting. #2 banana discs #3 our long night of fighting with our husbands in front of each other!
Parker, not Paul!
Leah, Leah, Leah! How can I pick just one??? Hmmm, there was girls camp, California, Mr. Barmettler's English class, ditching Sunday school to go have breakfast at Denney's (maybe I shouldn't have posted that one;) Oh yes, getting grounded for the gift we left for the Larsen boy and having to apologize to everyone's mothers! That was mortifying!!! How could I forget that one:) Was that one really my brilliant idea???
A moment that I thought was fun, was decorating your preschool classroom for your birthday. I know, your not a big fan of surprises, however it was fun to do that...and for the kids to know it was Miss Leah's birthday.
Oh, and cant forget fun time at the park with our kiddos.
Yeah that was a great night we were just telling some of our friends about it the othernight. We were fighting about inlaws and spending christmas with both families. And I am sure there were many other subject that we touched down on. I know we miss you guys so much. we will be up there friday and saturday! What do you have planned for friday? maybe you could meet up with us somewhere during the day or if you want to we are going to have a little b-day party for me friday night probably at the pool at the hotel you could come that would be a great present for me!! I would get to see the kids. And you guys to of course!
My good memory is the time you babyset Alyssa for us over night and we came home really late and you had the house and Alyssa all taken care... We had all trust on you... Can you believe? Alyssa now can babysit for you... oh, my...
Hanging in Mexico with our sweet adopted family - choking down warm milk shakes every morning with meat&cheese quesadillas. Yum! At least I had you to suffer through it with everyday:)
